next election in pakistan

When next election in Pakistan is going to held ? It is top trend question among Pakistani people. Pakistan is facing two serious problems, one is political instability, and the other is the economic crisis. Following the success of the no-confidence motion against former Prime Minister Imran Khan, the coalition government and some political circles thought that political issues would move forward smoothly, but this did not seem to be the case.

According to some political and social circles, Imran Khan’s statement that “If he comes out of government, he will be more dangerous” seems accurate, and his demand for immediate elections has created political instability. The economic crisis has exacerbated the political situation. The dollar is currently in high demand. Commodity prices are also rising, and Mian Shahbaz Sharif’s government is afraid of making tough decisions. However, as soon as Mian Shahbaz Sharif took over the government, he told reporters in Lahore that the country was facing economic difficulties, which would require extraordinary decisions. Still, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s Decisions have not yet been made.

Some political analysts believe that the PML-N faces the most difficulties in the current situation. The PML-N has the most significant stake, so the PML-N seems to be suffering from nervousness and hesitation. PML-N is more worried after the no-confidence motion against former Prime Minister Imran Khan. One of the reasons for the trouble is the public acceptance of Imran Khan. If the elections are held soon, the PPP, the MQM, and other parties in the coalition government will not be in much danger. The PPP will maintain its position in Sindh, and if the elections are transparent, the MQM will also win five or six seats in Karachi.

Why does Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf want immediate elections?

As soon as the PTI government was overthrown, their demand for immediate elections came into full force. Imran Khan started public meetings as soon as he left the Prime Minister’s House, and so far, Jalsas have been held in many cities, and more are going on. Moreover, they have prepared their workers to come to Islamabad. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) does not recognize the current government and considers its power as a conspiracy against its power.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s demand for immediate elections is also being viewed differently. Some quarters believe that Imran Khan’s government was overthrown, creating an element of sympathy among the people. Imran Khan took this voice to the bottom by calling the overthrow of the government an internal and external conspiracy. If early elections are held now, this party will benefit the most from the support of the people. When Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar was asked, “Does the PTI want to hold snap elections just because it has the full support of the people?” “Our demand is not just on the basis that we will win, but we want immediate elections because we do not recognize the undemocratic government, so we want a public decision.”

When asked if the political parties would move to the next elections without finding a solution to the current economic crisis, he said the financial crisis would not be doubled. The current government is so incompetent that they can’t even decide the price of petrol.

Therefore, we believe that the caretaker government will be able to make better decisions than the current undemocratic government. According to on Political analyst, “If immediate elections are held, then Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) can fight a big battle, and I think it is possible to win more than a two-thirds majority.

What is the best time for PML-N to hold elections?

The PML-N seems to be stuck somewhere between economic decisions and the right timing of elections. If it makes some economical decisions that have a detrimental effect on the people’s economy, then the wreckage of the former government’s economic woes will fall on them. This is the feeling of being reluctant to raise petrol prices. The only way to stay safe from such offensive decisions is to move towards immediate elections, but the PML-N is reluctant.

When Khawaja Asif had said in an interview that it is possible to hold elections before the appointment of a new army chief, Asif Ali Zardari had clearly stated in a press conference that he had explained to Mian Sahib that We would go to the polls after electoral reforms. The PML-N seems to be divided at the party level when the elections should be held. From the impression of Shahbaz Sharif, it seems that he will be able to bring some stability to the economic level after a year. He will be able to make the people realize that his government has come and brought the country out of economic misery.

However, some PML-N leaders believe that elections should be held soon and the debris of the previous government should not be taken over. It seems that PML-N is confused. Many Political decisions believe that “In-house change was a PPP decision, then Zardari convinced Nawaz Sharif. Nawaz Sharif allowed his party an in-house change. These parties thought Imran Khan wanted to bring forward a military officer of his choice, who would allegedly play a role in his election victory.

When senior PML-N leader Pervez Rashid was asked why the PML-N is hesitant in decision making, he said that the PML-N is not hesitant; it is its position and thinking. He said, “There are two types of government. One has to work for a short period, while the other kind of government does not have to work for a short period but performs a duty. It is not our reluctance but the question of Pakistan’s ruling institutions, Pakistan’s political parties that they consider us caretaker government?

“We are not a caretaker government, and we have to go to the polls. We want to work until 2023 after tough decisions. Tough decisions will make a difference in popularity, which can be reversed with better governance and handling of affairs. We demand that, after tough decisions, they cooperate to ensure political stability and give our government a 2023 deadline. We say that the entire burden should not be placed on PML-N; all institutions and parties should feel their burden.

Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif has arrived in Pakistan after meeting his elder brother Mian Nawaz Sharif in London and is continuing consultations with allies. He has met Asif Ali Zardari, Fazlur Rehman, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, and Akhtar Mengal in connection with tough economic decisions and elections.

For the time being, after taking over the PM’s job, it seems that the PML-N will join hands with the allied parties in the economic arena to decide that all the rubble of public dislike will not fall on them alone. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that if we had raised oil prices as soon as we arrived, Imran Khan would have told the people to look! Your blood-sucking government has arrived.

The biggest challenge for Mian Shahbaz Sharif’s government is economical. Getting out of the economic downturn is their real test. If they succeed in this, they will also grow at the political level. The government is currently fearful of rising petrol prices, fearing that it would lower its popularity graph. That is why they are avoiding economic decisions. “

PML-N is hesitant about economic decisions and holding of elections? PML-N wants to please both the people and the IMF simultaneously, but it will not be possible. The IMF calls for an end to subsidies. If these subsidies are not eliminated, the treasury will be empty.

Why does the PPP not want early elections?

The PPP and PML-N played a crucial role in depriving the PTI of power. Thus, after taking on new responsibilities, the challenges for both parties are also significant. However, the PPP seems free from any hesitation in expressing its political position toward the PML-N. In the run-up to the elections, the PPP wants the reform process to be completed first, followed by-elections. Are electoral reform and legislation the PPP’s focus instead of immediate elections, or are there other reasons?

In response to this question, senior PPP leader Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah said, “Pakistan Peoples Party has no fear of holding early elections. Elections are the solution to the devastation that Imran Khan has wreaked on the economy and other sectors of the country. In elections, the Election Commission has to be taken into confidence. Electoral reforms will have to be made. The PPP wants these essentials to be met first and then, of course, to go to the polls by October.
